The initial visit includes a full intake and treatment (~90 minutes or longer). Follow-ups are one-hour sessions. You’ll always receive dedicated time and full attention.
I specialize in pelvic pain, sexual pain, hormonal imbalance, endometriosis, menopausal issues, and bladder/bowel dysfunction. I also treat allergies, chronic pain, pediatric concerns, and offer cosmetic acupuncture.
I am an out-of-network provider and accept assignments on select insurance plans. If assignment is not feasible for your specific plan and you have a PPO with out-of-network benefits, I’m happy to provide a superbill that you can submit for potential reimbursement. I have had acupuncture treatments from Mindy Pickard for a variety of maladies and pains, not having a GP, and always found the treatments efficacious. Mindy Pickard earned a Masters in Acupuncture at Tri-State College of Acupuncture. She is a NCCAOM Diplomate in Acupuncture and is licensed in New York State. She is trained in several acupuncture styles including trigger-point release; Japanese Meridian Style; and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is also certified in NAET- Allergy Elimination Technique and Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture. Ms. Pickard is a certified Kanpo practitioner, which is the use of traditional Chinese herbs in the Japanese tradition.
